I meant to say this last week - must have been Friday - but I’d already used my one audio upload of the day. This song…is one of the best songs. Just…in terms of tearing your heart out? I don’t know, it’s a very personal song for me. Very personal.
And anyway, the other day - whichever day it was - I was walking in Central Park on my lunch and it came on shuffle. Then The Jeweler’s Hands followed it and when I heard those drums I literally stopped walking and said out loud, “Oh you’ve gotta be kidding me.” Then came “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” and, well, suffice to say I’m surprised I didn’t just get on the train, go home, and cry myself to sleep.
